General Itinerary

1-Hour Segway Tour

The beginning of your tour starts directly next to the beautiful Delaware River. Here, you’ll get a wonderful panoramic view of New Jersey and The Benjamin Franklin Bridge. As you glide up Race Street, you’ll enjoy one of the most photographed streets in America, Elfreth’s Alley. Continue along thru Old City, the original neighborhood of Philadelphia, now home to art studios and galleries. Roll along and find yourself in the Queen Village section, an historic local neighborhood normally overlooked by travelers.

Then, travel through the iconic Italian Market (very popular with fans of the Rocky movies) before you experience the eclectic South Street – viewing the Philadelphia Magic Gardens and several blocks along this historic street. Your next neighborhood to explore is Society Hill with gorgeous historic homes, the nation’s first hospital (Penn Hospital), and quaint, quiet streets.

Finally, head through the Independence Mall area, along Race Street, and back to our location next to the Delaware river.

Beer Tour of Philadelphia

We begin your Philadelphia beer tour at the very heart of modern Philadelphia, City Hall. As we exit this popular meeting place, we discover some of the sights and sounds of Philadelphia as people are concluding their work day. Like many others at this time of day, we head to our first happy hour destination. We choose among some of the most unique, most typical, and most popular drinking establishments in the city.

We have the option to visit the oldest continuously operating bar in the city dating back to 1860, a place where they make their own beer just steps away from your table, an Irish pub with a local flare, and many other bars and pubs so popular with Philadelphians. At each location, we talk about the history of these bars, why they are so popular, and why locals crave a unique and authentic setting to enjoy food and drinks with friends, family, and co-workers. One drink at each bar is included with the brewery tour, as well as a quick stop for one of the most popular snacks in the city, perfect with your beer!

At each location, the bars feature one thing in common with each other – a taste for Philadelphia’s local craft beers and breweries. You quickly find out why Philadelphia is one of America’s best beer cities. Learn the names and discover the tastes of places such as Philadelphia Brewing Co., Victory, Yards, Troegs, Flying Fish, Sly Fox, Dogfish Head, and Dock Street Brewing Co.

After happy hour, end your Philly beer tour in the Rittenhouse Square neighborhood, a perfect location for you to continue on your beer journey in the City of Brotherly Love, grab some dinner at many of Philadelphia’s best restaurants nearby, or head straight back to your new favorite pub.
